Welcome to the homepage of horror poet Katy Bennett. Katy Bennett lives in London and began writing horror fiction and poetry under the pseudonym Karen James. Her work appeared in the Chimeraworld 2 anthology and at The Dark Krypt. After a long hiatus from writing, she has dropped the penname and is now concentrating on writing free-verse poetry that tells a story. Many of her poems contain horror and the supernatural, favourite authors include Stephen King, James Herbert, Roald Dahl, C S Lewis and Lewis Caroll. Favourite poets include Edgar Allan Poe, H P Lovecraft and Alfred Noyes.
